Agneta Bugyte is a contemporary jeweller based in Cornwall, creating one-of-a-kind pieces in patinated sterling silver, 18ct gold and diamonds. Her work explores the tension between light and darkness, combining deeply textured, patinated surfaces with fused gold and carefully placed stones. Gold becomes light, patina creates depth, and diamonds act as concentrated points of energy.
Working by hand, Agneta combines traditional goldsmithing techniques with an intuitive, material-led approach, allowing texture and form to develop while maintaining a strong sense of control and refinement. Her jewellery is elemental and tactile, yet quietly luxurious.
Through her practice, Agneta seeks to extend the possibilities of precious jewellery beyond conventional polish and perfection, bringing together expressive surfaces, precious materials and contemporary craftsmanship to create objects with a strong individual identity.
