We are delighted to announce a NEW partnership with the University of the Arts London (UAL): a curated online showcase celebrating outstanding emerging talent in contemporary craft and design.
UAL Showcase is an always-on global platform full of fresh ideas to address the challenges of today. It provides a space for recent University of the Arts London graduates to share their work, make connections and help shape the creative industries.
As part of London Craft Week 2026, the Showcase team invited Design-Nation to select a collection of graduate work spanning ceramics, textiles, jewellery and furniture design.
Titled Crafting Connections, the collection brings together projects that emerge from rich relationships between people and place, material and idea, heritage and innovation. While mass-produced objects may acquire meaning over time, handcrafted works carry intention, care and consideration from the outset. These are objects made to last. to be lived with, valued, and passed on. Not simply things, but future heirlooms that hold stories and meaning for generations to come.
This unique collaboration reflects a shared commitment between Design-Nation and UAL to support early-career designers and strengthen pathways between education and professional practice.
