Hounddog Design is a small contemporary designer-maker company run by founder Nick Newlands and based in East Sussex. Nick offers a range of unique interior design pieces, focusing on cabinets and lighting with a Scandinavian slant.
Each piece is generally made-to-order, providing an opportunity for clients to engage in bespoke alternatives of each design. Modern materials are used to provide strength, stability and consistency whilst having a low environmental impact. Each design can be customised with respect to colour, size and layout thereby giving every client the opportunity for creative input and the chance to own an individual piece meeting their exact requirements.
Nick brings a unique perspective to his creations, with a background in mechanical design engineering and an aesthetic influenced by living in Norway for a decade.
