Jade Pinnell Glass

moments of stillness

Jade Pinnell first experimented with glass in 2007 while studying 3D Design at Wiltshire College. Captivated by the material, she went on to study Decorative Arts; specialising in glass, at Nottingham Trent University. She later trained at a glass school in Wiltshire and worked alongside cast glass artists across the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.

During her years as an assistant in the glass industry, Jade developed a distinctive body of work exploring forms inspired by her love of architecture and geometry. Her sculptures investigate the flow of glass into structured forms, capturing fleeting moments, suspended in glass. Jade’s latest collection continues this exploration, recording moments of stillness and consciousness while drawing inspiration from her journey into motherhood. For this body of work, Jade folds paper to create models, which are dipped in wax and transformed into glass using the lost wax casting technique.

Jade Pinnell has established her glass studio in Bradford-on-Avon, where she continues to evolve her practice and curiosity for the material.

Jade joined Design-Nation as a Rising Professional in March 2o26 and moved up to full Professional membership the same year.
