Design-Nation Makes Its Festival of Crafts Debut at Farnham Maltings.
This October, Design-Nation will make its inaugural debut at Festival of Crafts at Farnham Maltings, bringing a curated showcase of 20 contemporary makers to one of the UK’s leading celebrations of making.
Taking place on 10–11 October 2026, Festival of Crafts celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, bringing together more than 90 makers from across the UK. Visitors can discover and buy contemporary craft directly from makers, alongside workshops, demonstrations and opportunities to meet the people behind the work.
For Design-Nation, the festival marks an exciting new opportunity to introduce our community of designer-makers to audiences in Farnham and the wider South East.
From highly skilled making and material experimentation to thoughtful approaches to sustainability and storytelling, the showcase reflects the diversity of creative practices within the Design-Nation community.
