Lighting designer and artist Rachel Fitzpatrick works at the interface between art and design. She uses a variety of tactile materials to create wonderfully playful one-off installations and limited edition pieces for corporate and private interiors and special events.
Rachel has travelled the world, creating and producing work for international clients – creating commissions for both private homes and commercial ventures. She’s installed sculptures for car manufacturer, Peugeot in its flagship showrooms Paris and Berlin. She also produced pieces for Velcro Ltd UK and New York’s luxury 5th Avenue Store, Bergdorf Goodman. Rachel was commissioned to produce lighting sculptures by a Los Angeles based design agency for its A-list Hollywood clientele, and she had a piece selected from her collection to be showcased by the European Cultural Centre during the Venice Architecture Biennale.
