Collect 2025: a baker’s dozen plus

In February 2025 Design-Nation will present thirteen impressive craftspeople at the Crafts Council’s Collect Fair, our fifth physical outing to this now essential international showcase of the best in contemporary craft, held in the beautiful surroundings of Somerset House.

Our 2025 cohort employ a diverse array of materials and disciplines to make intriguing decorative objects, many of which will be made especially for Collect. Our exhibitors generously explore juxtapositions and contrasts in their finely honed works – testing the tensions between order and disorder, between human-formed and natural forms, between the newly created and the re-imagined.

More information will follow soon.

Ceramics – Adele Howitt, Jane King, Kim Colebrook, Louise Bell, Ömer Öner

Glass – Deborah Timperley, Hannah Gibson, Kira Phoenix K’inan

Mosaic – Denise Jacques

Paper/wood – Hannah Lane

Silver – Anna Rennie

Stone – Zoe Wilson

Textiles – Carola Van Dyke

Design-Nation is also delighted to congratulate our members Chris Turrell (ceramics) and Michelle House (textiles) on their inclusion in the prestigious Collect Open. Only 10 makers will be showcased in the 2025 Open, and for two of them to be part of the Design-Nation family is very special.
