Design-Nation: Hatch’19 Case Study 7: Charlie Birtles

Maker of intriguing objects Charlie Birtles was in residence last month at NCCD as part of Hatch’19, their summer- long exploration of art schools and how creative practitioners develop their practices. Many of Design-Nation’s members have  been involved in this exciting project. In this film Charlie talks about her experience of art school and reflects on how this shaped her career.
