Botanica Textiles is a woven textile brand created by the designer and artist Natalie McCormack, whose work encapsulates the beauty of British grown natural dyes. Using only organic fibres, she creates biodegradable artworks and textile collections using colours from her Seasonal Natural Dye Library.
Natalie’s unique process connects colours to plants and seasons as they naturally change throughout the year. This forms the foundations of her practice as she uses the Colour Library as a base to start every design project. Most recently, Natalie has been exploring the concept of linking the colour with the location as well as the season, which resulted in an award-winning series of artworks showcased at Collect Art Fair 2024.
The aim of Botanica Textiles is to showcase the harmony which can be created between nature and colour to create a sustainable future.
