Michelle House specialises in bespoke hand-painted and printed wall-hangings and textile panels for commissions and exhibitions, cushions and digital original artworks on paper. She creates vibrant abstract prints with a strong graphic style and photographic elements.
She prides herself in producing beautiful, hand-made and bespoke pieces, created using hand-printing textile techniques, skills which are perhaps being lost in this digital age. These skills are paired with her knowledge and ability to design digitally enabling her designs to reach a wider market and in different formats.
Clients include Peter Jones (Sloane Square), Broomfield Hospital, Hove Poly Clinic, Ham Yard Hotel (Kit Kemp) and most recently the British Academy.
Michelle House is one of Design-Nation’s Fellows.
