At Design-Nation we’re always reviewing our activities and seeking to improve processes for us and the designer-makers we support. We’re changing the frequency of our membership selection panels. This means our next selection panel will take place at the beginning of December 2022, giving aspiring makers an extra month to apply. After that we will not recruit again until late spring 2023.
So if you’d like to join the liveliest and most supportive network in the UK, you’ve got just under two months to put in an application – the deadline is 1 December.
Successful applicants will join our 2023 programme which launches in spring. All members, whether full, Graduate or Associate, will have access both in-person and online, to a wide range of tailored CPD, exclusive study days, workshops, Buddy Scheme, discussion groups, our ground-breaking national Cluster Hub Network, and specialist groups addressing important subjects like sustainability and ethical making. Full members can apply to all exhibition opportunities: regular activities like London Craft Week, Decorex and Top Drawer, as well as special projects and regional activities. Our 70+ partners include event organisers, festivals, galleries and museums, retail specialists, university staff, trainers & workshop leaders, PR & marketing experts, manufacturers and collectors.
