Amy Leigh is an environmentally conscious, designer and maker of contemporary jewellery and decorative objects. Each piece is unique and handcrafted by Amy in her Suffolk studio, using sustainable materials and innovative techniques.
At the essence of Amy’s work is a fascination with materials changing state from liquid to solid. Her signature technique involves pouring molten metal (typically pewter) into water, rapidly reducing its temperature and shocking it back into a solid state creating intriguing sculptural forms. She then combines these metal sculptures with bio resin and recycled silver to create a range of contemporary jewellery and decorative objects, the spontaneity of this unusual process ensures every piece is a unique work of art.
